About me
Veterinarian and researcher studying viral diseases and host responses, integrating experimental models with sequencing-based approaches.
I am a veterinarian and researcher working on viral diseases, with a focus on pathogenesis, diagnostics, and host responses. My research spans swine and avian viruses, including Porcine Circovirus Type 2, Classical Swine Fever Virus, and Parrot Bornavirus.
I have developed diagnostic approaches such as the Instant Parrot Viral-Specific Antibody Detection Cell (ViSA), and currently focus on applying sequencing technologies, including Nanopore, for pathogen detection and experimental animal monitoring.
In parallel, I use single-cell RNA sequencing to study host responses to viral infection, particularly in the nervous system.
